This little foaming soap is my fudging saving grace for the upcoming winter months! Have you ever wanted to make your screaming toddler happy (aka wished for some peace & fucking quiet)?! So naturally, you take him to the park to let him play? Oh yaaayyyyy the world is all gravy again <3. Until a few days later when he single handedly infects your entire household & puts everyone on their asses (his included). I KNOW THE FEELING. No matter how many times I try to expose my child to all the nasty little dirty bugs children get… I feel like he always gets what everyone else has, last (eyeroll).
Since I’ve made this soap guys, it’s literally been all gravy. All gravy as in my nephew who was in his first 24 hours of STREP sick... played in our house & NONE OF US GOT SICK :O Holy shit, stop the presses; this shit W-O-R-K-S momma!!
This soap has some MAJOR antibacterial & antimicrobial properties. Added bonus, the thyme EO helps to relieve eczema, therefor being effective while moisturizing. Win win! The rosemary is a natural preservative which is great because this soap is literally 90% water. Or some % like that; I’m terrible at math. You get the point though, yea?! Make this soap if you need something a little stronger than that bath & body works cucumber plastic bead ridden shit. No offense, it smells lovely ;)
SHIT YOU’LL NEED:
Glass foaming soap dispenser
1 cup filtered water
4 tsp vegetable glycerin
1 Tbsp sweet almond oil
1 tsp Vitamin E
½ cup lavender castile soap
8 drops lemon essential oil
5 drops lavender essential oil
10 drops rosemary essential oil
10 drops thyme essential oil
HOW TO DO THE SHIT:
1. To a large bowl, add the filtered water, vegetable glycerin, almond & vitamin E oils. Whisk to combine.
2. Add the lavender castile soap & the essential oils. Whisk until everything is combined.
3. With a funnel, pour the soap into your foaming dispenser & just like that… NO MORE COOTIES!! I think I’ll rename it cooties-be-gone 8)
Once, I planned to renovate my home, so I was looking for bathroom accessories, and I selected a soap dispenser with sensor because it automatically pours the soap in the hands of user, without touching, so it is truly hygienic in nature.
Emily, I am loving that thought process!! That is indeed 100% hygienic. I think I'll look into getting one myself!! :)
