Gelato. My yoga pants’ favorite companion!
Ahhhh Springtime. The air is warmer & the days are getting longer!!
Spring & fall are my absolute favorite seasons. It’s embarrassing how many times on our afternoon walk, I look up into the bright sky, take a deep breath in & say, “Godddd I love Spring… I JUST LOVE IT”!! I’m a complete nerd for spring blooms. What can I say? It makes me happy. ALMOST as happy as gelato makes me. Almost!
At this point I’ve just accepted that there will be no summer bod… & I’m ok with that. When you can accept something, it makes indulging in things like donuts so much more pleasurable! Hahaha! Joking(ish).
These little baked chocolate donuts = pure heaven. They aren’t overly sweet, which is something I really admire about them (yes, speaking like they’re my children). Seriously though, they are the perfect balance of dark chocolate with a subtle sweetness to them.

Macarons! One little word. A whole lot of practice batches!
Guys, I NEED to perfect the French macaron. I am on a mission. A macaron mission if you will!! For generations, macarons have stumped even the most advanced bakers. If there is one confectionary treat that takes practice—it’s these bad boys.
When I tried my hand at them for the very first time yearsss back, my batch came out like PERFECTION!! We are talking p-e-r-f-e-c-t.

These classic cookies have been on my to do list for a while now. Now that we’re in quarantine, what better & more valid of a time to eat my feelings!!! Am I right?! I really wanted to make something that would bring a little cheer to the world! It definitely brightened my spirits AND curbed my PMS cravings. HAPPY APRIL FOOLS to me! Thanks period.

This recipe goes back to my culinary school days at the Art Institute! I can literally remember my chef talking about the simplicity, but also the importance of this French-inspired recipe! It’s typically served with fresh fruit, & sometimes sponge cake.

This cake is a MOTHER. FUDGING. BEAST!!
This cake takes the cake!! Get itttt??!! Sorry, couldn’t pass up a bad cake joke! It literally took me one full day to defeat this thing (meringue kisses included). The result: BEYOND worth it. C’mon, this cake is soaked in champagne syrup; if that doesn’t scream Valentine’s Day then I don’t know what does!

I truly can’t put into words how phenomenal this tart is!! If you make one dessert from my blog, MAKE THIS. I guarantee you won’t regret it. It may seem a little daunting but I promise you, this recipe is way easier to make than you think!
The hardest part is obtaining a tart pan (FYI sur la table $11). No, target doesn’t carry them. I KNOW, wth—they have everything!!

HOLY MOLY!!!! Those are the words I shouted after taking the first bite of this ice cream. Ok, the “moly” may have been replaced with another four letter word that started with an 'S' & ended with a 'T'. What can I say?! I can’t control it sometimes; I fucking LOVE good food. Actually, I just love food, period.
The ultimate breakfast in bed! The ultimate way to say, “SEE! I do love you!” :)
When I say this is blueberry crumb cake… I mean CRUMB cake. Half of the height of this thing is delicious brown sugar, buttery goodness!! I like a little cake with a whole lot of crumb *shrugs*. I bet half of you feel the same way. Am I right??
